Christmas at Home
I'm so happy to be home for Christmas break. It has been a long semester for me and I'm finally glad to be done with it. These were some of my hardest classes this Fall, but the Lord has carried me through it especially Philosophy. In my linguistics class, Dr. Clark has been such an encouragement to me, because I was really having a hard time in Intro to Linguistics, but I made it. Christmas was great this year, we visited all of my family and for once it was not all about gift giving. We decided to do a White Elephant gifts this year because of the financial struggles everyone is dealing with due to the economy. It was hilarious to see some of the odd things that people opened. I received a basket of sparkling grape juice, caviar, and crackers. lol. It's just so nice to be around family and relax for a bit. I start classes January 12th, on my birthday unfortunately, but for now I'm soaking in all the rest that I can during my break.
