Bears Game Sunday

Bears lost to the Packers 34-3. Ortin was quarterback even though he still had not completely healed from his ankle injury. Grossman subbed in for him in the last quarter of the game. Forte was replaced by Wolfe also in the last quarter because of his failure to move the ball up the field. This puts us in second place in our division.  All in all the game was an embarrassment to watch. 

Victoria Falls

This is a video of Victoria Falls in Africa. It was the most amazing and awesome natural landmark I have ever seen. It truly is a testimony to how great and powerful our God really is. If God created something so wondrous as this, how much more wondrous and awesome is God?

• Healing of my Broken Finger

Shocking!!!

So I went into the doctor's office today so that they could take a look at my finger, and then send me to the therapist to get a special brace since I had so many breaks. They brought me in, took X-rays, then put me in a room to wait for the doctor. He came in with my X-rays looking shocked. I found out that I have a bone abnormality called SFH (Super Fast Healing). That's right, almost all my breaks are healed and the chip in my middle knuckle is the only thing that needs tending to. They said that if I can keep the brace on the finger for one more week and refrain from using my right hand too much, I should be able to have it off next Thursday and start therapy. I just have to hope that the chip in my bone does not make my knuckle heal at and awkward angle. God is good!!

Doctor Visit

After breaking my pinkie in three different places and damaging ligaments while playing dodge ball last Monday, I am going in for a new brace that will hold everything in place, instead of this annoying wire with a bunch of tape wrapped all over it. Unfortunely, the most annoying thing about the wire is that every morning when I wake up, I find that the wire has more to a different position while I was sleeping, making my pinkie move with it. PAINFUL! I will also find out whether I will be needing surgery for the ligaments or not seeing as I am still unable to hold my finger next to the rest of the fingers and it is still immobile after a week's worth or healing. Overall, even if I don't need surgery, it will still be four weeks before everything is healed. Be praying for me.
